Technology

The legal layer, built like software.

TECHLAWG is a legal technology company. The documents are the output; the system that produces, checks and maintains them is the product.

What we're building

Structured, not templated.

A template gives every company the same document. A structured system asks what the product does, what data it moves and who it sells to, then produces documentation that matches the answers and updates when they change.

Two pieces of this are already live and free to use: the Policy Checker and the Launch Checklist Generator. Everything else on this page is labelled by its real status.

Policy Checker

Paste a privacy policy or terms of service and get a scored gap report against the disclosures regulators, app stores and enterprise buyers look for. Free, runs in your browser, nothing stored.

In development

Contract intelligence

Tools for surfacing the provisions that carry obligations, money or risk across a company's agreements.

In development

Compliance workflows

Structured privacy, AI and technology compliance workflows with an auditable trail of what was decided and when.

Products marked in development are not yet publicly available. Nothing on this page describes functionality that exists only as a plan.

Foundations

What the system is made of.

Legal knowledge

Obligations organised by jurisdiction, sector and product type rather than by document name.

Structured data

Products, data flows, vendors and markets modelled as data so documentation can be derived from them.

Document systems

Clause-level components with version history, so an update reaches every document that uses it.

AI

Used for drafting, comparison and issue-spotting under human review. Never as the final word.

Automation

The repetitive parts of intake, generation and maintenance, handled by the system.

Legal intelligence

The published layer: clause breakdowns, checklists and founder answers that feed back into the system.
