1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and software development kits. This policy covers all of them and refers to them collectively as cookies.
2. The categories we use
Strictly necessary
Required for the site to function and to remember your consent choice. These do not require consent, and you cannot switch them off through our banner.
Analytics
Help us understand which pages are useful and where visitors drop off. These load only if you accept them. Declining has no effect on your ability to use the site.
We do not use advertising, retargeting or cross-site tracking cookies. We do not sell or share personal data collected through cookies for behavioural advertising.

Where an analytics provider is used, it acts as our processor under contract and we apply IP anonymisation and the shortest retention setting available to us. If we add or remove a cookie, this table is updated.
4. Server logs
Separately from cookies, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs including IP address, request time, page requested and user agent. These are used for security, abuse prevention and diagnostics, are not used to build profiles, and are retained for up to 12 months.
5. Your choices
When you first visit, a banner asks whether to allow non-essential cookies. Nothing beyond strictly necessary loads until you choose.
To change your choice, clear this site's cookies and local storage in your browser and reload the page. The banner will appear again.
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and most browsers offer a private browsing mode. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how the site behaves.
We honour Global Privacy Control signals where your browser or extension sends one, and treat that as an opt-out of non-essential cookies.
6. Interactive tools
The EU AI Act applicability checker on this site runs entirely in your browser. Your answers are held in page memory only, are not stored in a cookie, and are not transmitted to us.
7. Third-party content
We load web fonts from a third-party font service, which involves a request from your browser to that service and the transmission of your IP address as a technical necessity of that request. We do not use font services to track you. If you prefer to avoid this entirely, browser extensions that block third-party requests will prevent it, with a minor effect on typography.
8. Changes
We update this policy when the cookies we use change. The version and effective date appear at the top of this page.
